Custom Decode wont run

Ken Pokigo

I have several custom decodes.

# Announce My RSSI
 if [ "$1" = "81" ] ; then bash -l /home/irlp/custom/speak_rssi/trigrssi ; exit 1 ; fi

I can execute this just fine from the terminal window just fine by....

/home/irlp/custom/speak_rssi/trigrssi

Any idea why it wont run from the custom decode?

I have several other very similar that are working just fine

Log in as user root and su to repeater (or log in as repeater)

su - repeater
decode 81

Look for any obvious errors.

Why dod you have the "bash -l" in your custom_decode?

 if [ "$1" = "81" ] ; then bash -l /home/irlp/custom/speak_rssi/trigrssi ; exit 1 ; fi

It should work as you type it on the command line.

 if [ "$1" = "81" ] ; then /home/irlp/custom/speak_rssi/trigrssi ; exit 1 ; fi

Or perhaps;

 if [ "$1" = "81" ] ; then $CUSTOM/home/irlp/custom/speak_rssi/trigrssi ; exit 1 ; fi
